Last time I challenged myself leading up to Halloween it worked quite well. I am going to do it again.
In the next 5 weeks, I hope to lose 15 lbs - but let's be honest I would be super happy with 10. I am going to push myself to change my life with a better diet and lots of added exercise. I also am signed up for a 10k in October, so I have no choice. I must get more physically fit. I will run 3-4 times each week, to build myself up to the 6 mi. Also, I signed up for a month of cross fit - so I will be doing that 3 times a week as well. I need to figure out my diet. Planning is going to be key, but sticking to the plan will be crucial. I need to arm myself with the food to succeed. I'll come back with a plan for that later tonight. My first official weigh in will be tomorrow morning. I am currently a 12, but would love to be a size 10 for Halloween. I will certainly make a new goal when this one ends. I am signed up for a half marathon in February and it will be much easier to run if I am significantly lighter.
Yay for recommitment. I'll be back with a plan for food for the next 5 weeks.

2013 Day 1
This year is going to be an adventure. I am moving to NY in 3 days to start a new job and embark on the next portion of my life. It's hard to believe that it is coming so quickly. I am almost done packing, but I will spend tomorrow putting all the finishing touches on it. Then we pack my car on Thursday. I am excited and anxious at the same time. I am definitely nervous about the money. I know that I can make friends, but I need to push myself to get out there more and participate.

A New Low
Super excited to wake up and weigh in this morning. I have been doing great recently, so I knew it would be good. I need to get my scale a new battery. It keeps reading 'lo' but if you jump on at the right time it will tell you your weight and then switch to reading 'lo' again. I did this 3 times this morning to check that the reading was right. I am down to 178.8!! YAY!

Off the Wagon and Back On
The past couple weeks have been a whirl-wind. I was offered and accepted a new job and then flew across the country to NY to find an apartment for my big move in Jan. I have managed to gain only about 2lbs. I am going to get back on track so that I can look great for the holidays. My next goal will be for Jan 2nd - the day of my big move. With 3.5 weeks, hoping to lose 1.6 each week, my goal will be to lose 5.6 lbs. Any more would be a bonus. That would put me at 177.4.
