Really doin' this

I may not have come back that day to post about food, but I've gotten on track. Saturday, was spent in the city with my family. I probably went a little over on calories for dinner, but I did perfect the rest of the day and walked about 8 mi. Today, I ran 4 mi (52min), and stayed on diet in the afternoon. I had a bit too many kisses this morning, but those are the last I will have until Halloween. I am very serious. I stocked the fridge with fruits, veggies, a roasted chicken, and all sorts of healthy food. I am also going to try to take my lunch all week - to make up for the grocery bill. I already have lunch and breakfast packed for tomorrow. I'll create another post after this for weigh-ins. I scheduled my first crossfit class for tomorrow after work. Eek! I hope I survive!

Another Halloween Challenge

Last time I challenged myself leading up to Halloween it worked quite well. I am going to do it again.

In the next 5 weeks, I hope to lose 15 lbs - but let's be honest I would be super happy with 10. I am going to push myself to change my life with a better diet and lots of added exercise. I also am signed up for a 10k in October, so I have no choice. I must get more physically fit. I will run 3-4 times each week, to build myself up to the 6 mi. Also, I signed up for a month of cross fit - so I will be doing that 3 times a week as well. I need to figure out my diet. Planning is going to be key, but sticking to the plan will be crucial. I need to arm myself with the food to succeed. I'll come back with a plan for that later tonight. My first official weigh in will be tomorrow morning. I am currently a 12, but would love to be a size 10 for Halloween. I will certainly make a new goal when this one ends. I am signed up for a half marathon in February and it will be much easier to run if I am significantly lighter.

Yay for recommitment. I'll be back with a plan for food for the next 5 weeks.
